The goal for pet a palooza was to collect 500 lbs of pet food. We collected 916 lbs!!
Because our students exceeded their goals, Mr. Meister and Mr. Barrett agreed to eat crickets and chocolate-covered scorpions.

We just wrapped up college application week and we are so proud of our amazing seniors.
With the help of Brent Caulley, they filled out 59 applications to 31 different universities, state colleges, community colleges, and trade schools across the US. All of the schools are featured in the picture below.
We can't wait to see our Eagles soar.
Exciting news!
Demo work started this week on the new McKenzie Little Eagles Childcare Center.
The center will house the Preschool and serve families with children ages 3 months to 6 years old. There will also be before-school care for children ages 5 to 11. If you are interested in using the childcare center, please email Lacey Joy at lacey.joy @ mckenziesd.org, to estimate the number of children served. The center is projected to open in late February or early March 2023.

Fall Sports Awards for all Middle and High School sports will be on Wednesday, 11/9/2022 @ 6 pm in the cafeteria. Certificates and awards will be handed out for Cross Country, Football, and Volleyball for all athletes that participated in grades 5 through 12. See you there!
What a wonderfully busy week the McKenzie Eagles are having. Wednesday was a great day filled with smiles and cement.
